Lord, tomorrow is the day.

We lift up to You all NASH takers who have prepared, sacrificed, reviewed, prayed, and hoped for this moment.

Calm their minds.
Steady their hearts.
Strengthen their memory.
Sharpen their judgment.
Guide their choices.

When the questions become difficult, remind them to breathe.
When the options become confusing, give them clarity.
When doubt enters, replace it with courage.

May they not only remember what they studied, but also apply wisdom, discernment, and integrity in every answer.

Bless their health, their travel, their time, and their peace of mind.
Protect them from fear, panic, and discouragement.

Lord, whatever the result may be, remind them that this exam does not define their worth.
But may tomorrow become a door of opportunity, growth, and service.

For every aspiring school leader, may this be more than a test of knowledge.
May it be a step toward becoming the kind of leader our schools truly need.

We claim peace.
We claim wisdom.

In a reported case, a school principal faced serious consequences over alleged falsification of documents and malversation involving โ‚ฑ5,000 in school funds.

โ‚ฑ๐Ÿ“,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ.

Sa iba, maaaring sabihin:
โ€œKonti lang naman.โ€

But in public service, โ€œkonti langโ€ can cost everything.

A few bags.
A few pesos.
A small adjustment in records.
A signature that โ€œfixesโ€ the paperwork.
A liquidation that looks clean on paper.

Minsan, hindi nagsisimula sa malaking anomalya ang pagbagsak ng tiwala.

Minsan, nagsisimula lang sa simpleng pag-iisip na:
โ€œMali nga, pero maliit lang naman.โ€

But public funds are never small.
Public trust is never cheap.
And accountability does not depend on the amount involved.

New Breed Lens:
A school leader must protect not only the money, but the integrity of the system.

Because once records are falsified, once liquidation is manipulated, once โ€œkonti langโ€ becomes acceptable, leadership already begins to crack.

Hindi sukatan ng integrity kung magkano ang nawala.
Ang sukatan ng integrity ay kung kaya mong tumanggi kahit maliit lang ang tukso.

Ang grievance ay hindi isang simpleng reklamo.
Hindi rin ito dapat gawing tsismis, power play, o personalan.

Ito ay ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ ๐ง๐š ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ๐จ ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐š ๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐จ๐ฅ๐›๐š ๐š๐ง๐  ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ซ๐ง ๐ง๐š๐ง๐  ๐ฆ๐š๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐ฌ, ๐ฉ๐š๐ญ๐š๐ฌ, ๐๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐, ๐š๐ญ ๐ง๐š๐š๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐ง ๐ฌ๐š ๐ญ๐š๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐  ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐œ๐ž๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž.

Sa school setting, normal na may misunderstanding, disagreement, delayed action, unclear instruction, o pakiramdam ng unfair treatment.

Pero ang isang New Breed leader, hindi agad nagpapalaki ng issue.
Hindi rin basta pinapatahimik ang nagrereklamo.

Ang unang tanong dapat ay:

โ€œAno ang concern?โ€
โ€œNasunod ba ang tamang proseso?โ€
โ€œPaano ito maresolba at the lowest possible level?โ€

Because grievance is not drama.
It is ๐๐ฎ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.

Old Mindset:
โ€œPag-usapan na lang natin para matapos.โ€

๐๐ž๐ฐ ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ ๐Œ๐ข๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ž๐ญ:
โ€œ๐๐š๐ -๐ฎ๐ฌ๐š๐ฉ๐š๐ง ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง ๐ง๐š๐ง๐  ๐ฆ๐š๐š๐ฒ๐จ๐ฌ, ๐ข-๐๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง ๐ง๐š๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐š๐ฆ๐š, ๐š๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ง ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง ๐š๐ง๐  ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฌ๐จ.โ€

A grievance properly handled can prevent a small issue from becoming a bigger administrative problem.

Sa DepEd at sa public service, madalas nating marinig ang linyang:

โ€œ๐ˆ๐ง ๐ž๐ฑ๐ข๐ ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐œ๐žโ€ฆโ€

Pero hindi ibig sabihin nito na puwede nang balewalain ang rules, process, fairness, documentation, at rights ng personnel.

Ang ibig sabihin nito: may ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐ง๐ž๐ž๐ ang serbisyo na kailangang tugunan upang hindi maantala ang operasyon, learnersโ€™ welfare, o public interest.

Hindi siya dapat ginagamit para takpan ang poor planning.
Hindi rin siya dapat gawing shortcut para sa personal preference.
At lalong hindi siya dapat gamitin para gawing normal ang arbitrary decisions.

For school heads and learning leaders, the better question is not only:

โ€œMay urgent need ba talaga na dapat tugunan?โ€

But also:

โ€œNaipaliwanag ba nang maayos?โ€
โ€œMay documentation ba?โ€
โ€œMay reasonable basis ba?โ€
โ€œMay fairness ba sa implementation?โ€
โ€œAt aligned ba ito sa rules and public interest?โ€

Because real leadership is not just about acting fast.

It is about acting with urgency, clarity, fairness, and accountability.

Today, we honor every motherโ€”and every mothering heart in education.

To the mothers at home,
to the teachers who nurture like mothers,
to the school heads who lead with both firmness and compassion,
