Welcome to the Twin Cities, 2026 corps! 🎉

Last week, we had the honor of officially welcoming our 21 newest TFA Twin Cities corps members with a community tour across the Twin Cities.

From South Minneapolis to North Minneapolis, our new teachers explored the strength and resilience of this community through the eyes of local leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers — including The Coven, Juxtaposition Arts in North Minneapolis and Benchpress Letterpress.

To every community leader who showed up to welcome them: thank you. Their journey as teachers starts now. 🌟

🎉⚾ New Corps Members Community Welcome Event — Baseball Game Recap!

This past Sunday, we had the opportunity to celebrate and welcome our new corps members to the Twin Cities by attending the Saints game at CHS Field in St. Paul. We were honored to be joined by our new corps members (2026), current corps members, alumni, and community members!

Our time at the ballpark was filled with great food, an electric baseball atmosphere, and meaningful community connections. Our new corps members had the opportunity to connect with incoming members, as well as alumni who have made notable contributions to the education landscape in Minnesota. This event officially kicks off our summer activities at TFA Twin Cities, as we work to equip our new corps members with the right tools to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Thank you to our friends at CHS Field and the St. Paul Saints for hosting us at their beautiful ballpark in downtown St. Paul! We look forward to many more games together in the future! 🙌

As we wrap up the 2025-26 school year, we would like to take a moment to thank our incredible school partners and leaders who have joined us in pursuing a mission greater than ourselves. Your support and partnership have greatly elevated our efforts in providing an excellent education for students in Minnesota. As a result of our partnership, our corps members have a place where they can contribute to the education landscape, growth of our students, and where our educators can also grow and become impactful educators and leaders within our communities.

We are excited to announce that our second wave of corps members has earned a Teach Minnesota Teaching Fellows recommendation for their Tier 3 license from the Minnesota Department of Education! Our corps members continue to grow and are committed to ensuring that all students receive the education they deserve by continuously equipping themselves with the right preparation at the highest level, resources, and training. We are incredibly proud of their growth as educators — a milestone that further advances our mission of providing an excellent education for every student across the Twin Cities.

We are honored to welcome our TFA Twin Cities 2024 corps members into alumnihood. On Saturday, May 30th, TFA Twin Cities recognized and celebrated the 14 corps members who completed their two years of teaching service.

Our new alumni redefined what it means to not only care for their students, but also for their communities. These individuals came together from different backgrounds, stories, upbringings, and motivations, united by one thing above all: a passion for helping students succeed. Each one of our corps members ensured that students felt supported and heard — especially in the most challenging moments. They arrived with a deep desire to support, motivate, and empower every student in their care. This group committed to service — and leaves an undeniable impact on the lives of every student they served.

Today, we celebrate each of them as they embark on new journeys — whether continuing in education, pursuing further learning, or expanding their horizons in new fields. We are proud and honored to welcome you into the TFA Twin Cities Alumni community. Thank you for your dedication, commitment, and service to students. We are forever grateful.
