📌Agatsu Ryu :
🇬🇧 🇺🇸 The path of martial arts is not about the destination, but about the people you meet along the way. ❤️

Today, we are proud to congratulate Associate Professor Radek Vrtěl on being named an Emeritus Member of Seishin Budo Kai. This appointment is a testament to our deep respect for his character and his mastery.

👉 This photo takes us back to 2015 (March 15th, to be exact!). A lot of time has passed since then, but Radek’s contribution to our community remains as strong as ever.

To all of us, he is proof that martial arts is a lifelong journey that shapes not only the body but also the spirit.

Radek, thank you for everything, and we look forward to many more moments together, both on and off the tatami! 🥂💪

Heute gratulieren wir voller Stolz Herrn Dozent Radek Vrtěl zu seiner Ernennung zum Emeritus-Mitglied der Seishin Budo Kai. Dies ist Ausdruck unseres tiefen Respekts vor seiner Persönlichkeit und seinem außerordentlichen Können.

👉 Das Foto führt uns zurück in das Jahr 2015 (genau genommen zum 15. März!). Seitdem ist viel Zeit vergangen, doch Radeks Beitrag zu unserer Gemeinschaft ist nach wie vor ungebrochen stark.

Für uns alle ist er der Beweis dafür, dass Kampfkünste ein lebenslanger Weg sind, der nicht nur den Körper, sondern auch den Geist formt.

Radek, wir danken dir und freuen uns auf viele weitere gemeinsame Momente auf und abseits der Tatami! 🥂💪

Growing together at Shidōshakai! 🤝

Kagami Biraki is about more than just tradition—it’s about the community that makes our dōjō what it is. This year, we had the honor of recognizing those who lead by example through their hard work and dedication.

Huge shout-out to Shihan Martin Březina for his new ranks (6th Dan Jūjutsu, 3rd Dan Kenjutsu) and to doc. Radek Vrtěl for being named Member Emeritus.

Their success is a motivation for all of us as we head back to the mats! 🦾

25 years of Agatsu Ryu!🎉

On Saturday, we celebrated our school's 25th anniversary. It was a day that will go down in Agatsu Ryu history!

We would like to thank everyone who came to share this special event with us.

What happened?

• The official opening began with a speech by our master.😇

• We watched a historical video and reminisced during a panel discussion.😁

• Our master presented awards to long-time students for their service, and the ART team also prepared a special gift for him: a video with students and teachers expressing their gratitude.😌

• The highlight was the thrilling live demonstration block – Agatsu Ryu Embukai, where our teachers and master showed off their incredible and long-standing skills.🤩🤯

• There was also entertainment: the students performed a play and a thrilling quiz about the history of the school.🙂

• After the demonstrations, we cut a beautiful cake.🤩

• We ended the event with a closing speech, thanks, and informal entertainment.😉

Your energy, feelings, and support, which you wrote down in the Book of Memories, are the greatest reward for us.😇

On the 12th April we´ ve had technical exams for Kyu grades.😊

Congratulations to all the students, especially to all the Reimei-sha (beginners) for passing their first exams.🤩

Kagami Biraki is a celebration of practitioners returning to the Dōjō after the New Year break.
In our school, we celebrate it by sharing important information for the upcoming year, catching up on what's new with everyone, and, most importantly, showcasing our students' progress through demonstrations.
We also held promotions. Congratulations to our Shihan René Garcia on his 7th Dan in Jujutsu, and to everyone else who achieved success.

On November 30th, we conducted Dan rank examinations. David Maňur passed the examination on the 4th Dan, and Barbora Hlavová achieved the 2nd Dan.
Congratulations to our teachers! We wish them much success in martial arts and in all their endeavors.

On the October 12th we had the Agatsu Ryu practical training and the Meet and Greet.

We really enjoyed the activities. This activity made the students get to know each other better, and especially the beginners got to know others more and also got a great workout. 😊

On the September 28th we had a celebration called Matsuri.
It's an annual event and this year it was the 24th annual. The event was created in honor of the founding of Agatsu Ryu.

We enjoyed the celebration very much and we are looking forward to many more memories we will have together. 😊
