DepEd Caraga follows the current academic calendar per DepEd Order 22, s. 2023. Schools shall abide by the prescribed calendar for the School Year 2023-2024. The adjustments to the calendar - if any - shall be disseminated through a DepEd Order and not through private messages on social media.

On January 16, 2024, the DepEd Central Office officially announced the continuation of the Senior High School Voucher Program for qualified student beneficiaries in State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs) up to the school year 2024-2025. Both the DepEd and CHED are working to formalize this agreement. Students and stakeholders are encouraged to stay updated on further announcements related to the program.

On the hauling of goods, DepEd Caraga has implemented appropriate measures following a resolution of the case with Transpac in December 2023, with all 12 Schools Divisions Offices able to haul and deliver 100% of the items such as TVL and ICT equipment, textbooks, self-learning modules, and furniture from the warehouse to the intended areas.
