Fire Up Your Metabolism Workshop 13/05/2026

Those who are close to me have seen my transformation in the past 6 months. I feel like a different person than I was 6-8 months ago on a cellular level. I successfully lost 20 pounds, and am maintaining my new weight with ease. I feel better than I have since my 30's to be honest, and am back in the driver seat of my life, health and body! We are fed a lot of misinformation as women, and as we go thru our journey our bodie's needs simply are NOT the same as they were and the old ways don't work anymore.
While I did NOT take this program to do my personal transformation, my personal work thru this transformation is what led me to become a coach for Mindstrong, get my Biohacking certificate, and to study and learn more every single day. I am excited to help other women hopefully avoid some of the HUGE pitfalls of menopause/perimenopause.
Nutrition is HUGE and what I love about Mindstrong's approach, is that we start there, not with quick fixes or pills or powders or injections but with FOOD, and correcting metabolism. Those other things, supplements, peptides, herbal supports, lifestyle design, etc, if needed, I can also assist with, but what, when, and how we eat are the primary drivers to our well being. I know firsthand that my committment to changing my diet, Eating MORE, NOT less believe it or not, were the drivers in my transformation. Super excited to be joining the Mindstrong Team as a Certified Coach! Health and fitness have been lifelong passions for me since I was very young. This feels like such a perfect next step in my journey to support women in transition at a perfect time!

The last 10 years or so have been FULL of health challenges: most of which were the result of hitting menopause at the very young age of 42. From hot flashes that cycled every 10 minutes, drenching me in sweat 24 hours a day, to obvious issues with sleep, skin issues, mental issues, brain fogs and far too many symptoms to list, my time thru this journey was quite a ride, and doctors were close to useless to give me any insight on how to manage the ride. Women are taught just to suck it up, rather than educated on how to find healthy ways to empower a healthier ride. I only wish I knew THEN what I know NOW, I'm sure it could have been a much gentler journey.

About 6 months ago, I saw my weight hit at an all time high, and realized I too had become sort of "accepting" that my seemingly ever expanding size, decreasing energy, etc were just "part of the journey." I felt horrible too often. Long ago, I had learned to accept and live with so much pain and inflammation in my body, that I had normalized it. I was still super active even still, dancing and at the gym all the time, so much so that I tore my meniscus which slowed me down a LOT. In that slow down I started a deep dive into nutrition, healing peptides, regenerative health, hormones, and basically began devouring any and all information I could get to empower positive change in my personal health. It's become a bit of a fun obsession now for me. While my husband watches Netflix, I'm studying. Every free minute, I'm studying and researching, and I LOVE what I've learned in my journey so far. I've created protocols for myself that are working, and just feel like every month I feel stronger and more clear. The impact on my self esteem is noticeable for sure.

20 pounds lighter, I now feel like myself again, passionate, energetic, sleeping better, my mind is more clear, and my inflammation and pain are GONE for the first time maybe in 20 years.. and many of you know how much I suffered with low back and neck pain over the years.

Somewhere in my feed, a company called Mindstrong popped up with an ad looking for coaches to help other women thru nutrition and fitness! I jumped in, interviewed and was accepted as a coach! Today, I finished my Certification program and will soon be working as a Mindstrong Coach! I am passionate to embark on this new journey to help other women get a grip on their lives during all the phases of menopause shifts! Peri, full swing menopause and Post menopause. Super excited for this new chapter in working with the Sisterhood in a new and very significant way! :)
