Happy ! In her recent Peitho article, Danielle Mollie Stambler coins "rhetorical sandwiches" to describe how healthy lifestyle articles layer expert commentary around hedged science to build ethos and motivate behavior change. New in Peitho Spring 2026! In this article, Jessica Edens McCrary applies feminist rhetorical microhistory to oral histories from the Georgia Women's Movement Project, listening closely to how activist Linda Kurtz reframed the ERA's "failure" as progress on a longer timeline. Through this analysis, McCrary argues that oral history narrators are co-authors of recovery scholarship, offering theories of feminist historical memory that complicate tidy narratives of success and failure in archival work.

Centering Black Women for WFH and Wages Due Le****ns, Rowland reads the campaign's "impossible" demands through Butler's performative contradiction, showing how they exposed capitalism's inability to properly value reproductive work.
