I'm sorry to verify the sad news that Ms Mackie passed away August 20th. You'll see in the link that there will be a memorial service on September 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Jude's Anglican Home. This February is Elizabeth Mackie's 95th birthday. Her birthday is February 8, a Sunday, and there we will be a small tea for her. If you are interested in attending let me know and I will put you in touch with the appropriate parties, as I'm not sure about space limitations, etc. Anyone who might want to send along greetings could send a card, and I know she would love to hear from any of the boarders.
