Another quote from this past Wednesday evening: Warren spoke with a woman at Gateway who told him, "This is the first time since I got here that I forgot I was in a homeless shelter, and I forgot about the things that happened that brought me here, and I just had a good time."

One of the kids at the Gateway Center Wednesday evening gave this to us. It really doesn't get much better than this :-)

Vince Smith, the director at Gateway, says that Gateway will continue to serve women and kids in their overflow shelter and not have to put them out to make room for men from Peachtree and Pine. This is good news and means that we are good to go with our original plans to serve at Gateway this Wednesday.
