A glimpse into our School-Based Health Promotion Campaign through video, capturing the energy, enthusiasm, and active participation of students from Rayerbazar High School and Rajmushuri Government Primary School at the venue of Rayerbazar High School.

This large student gathering created an engaging platform to promote health awareness, encourage positive behavioural practices, and inspire interactive learning.

We sincerely thank our Director, Prof. Mohammad Delwer Hossain Hawlader, for his guidance and leadership, and our dedicated volunteers for making this initiative successful.

Snapshots from our School-Based Health Promotion Campaign, where students from Rayerbazar High School and Rajmushuri Government Primary School came together at the venue of Rayerbazar High School.

This campaign was conducted with such a large student gathering. Bringing together young learners from two institutions created a dynamic and engaging platform to promote health awareness, encourage positive behavioural practices, and foster interactive learning. The enthusiasm and active participation of the students made the initiative both impactful and memorable. We sincerely acknowledge the continuous guidance and leadership of our Director, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Delwer Hossain Hawlader, whose support strengthens our mission.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated volunteers for their professionalism, coordination, and commitment in successfully managing this large-scale campaign. Their collective effort ensured the smooth ex*****on of this significant initiative.

We are proud to share that the Inception Meeting of the HEAT Project, “A Nationwide Longitudinal Assessment of Post-COVID Non-Communicable Disease Outcomes in Bangladesh,” was successfully hosted by the Department of Public Health, North South University.

This prestigious event marked a significant milestone reflecting its growing leadership in nationally impactful, evidence-based public health research. The program brought together distinguished academic leaders, university authorities, and the project team for the official launch. The session featured a welcome address by Dr. Azaz Bin Sharif, Chairman, Dept of Public Health, a comprehensive project overview by Dr. Mohammad Hayatun Nabi, inspiring speeches from our respected Special Guests, and Chief Guest, Prof. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor, North South University, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Mohammad Delwer Hossain Hawlader, SPM, HEAT Project, followed by a group photo and networking lunch.
The HEAT Project represents a major step toward generating robust national evidence on post-COVID health outcomes and strengthening Bangladesh’s response to emerging non-communicable disease challenges.

We look forward to translating this vision into measurable impact for the nation.

We are excited to share highlights of one more episode from our regular session of the "School-Based Health Promotion Campaign," held this time at Kuril Primary Government School.

The International Congress on Kindness, Moral Values, and Their Impact on Happiness was held on December 20, 2025, marking the first-ever global conference dedicated to exploring how kindness and moral values profoundly influence human happiness and well-being.
North South University served as the academic partner for this landmark event, which was organized by Shomman Foundation. One of our esteemed international collaborators was Reitaku University, Japan, home to the renowned Institute of Moralogy.
The Honorable Vice Chancellor of North South University, Dr. Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, was a distinguished speaker at the Congress. In his address, he emphasized the importance of fostering kindness and moral integrity as foundational pillars for building a harmonious society and enhancing individual happiness.
Dr. Rishad Choudhury Robin, Research Fellow at NGHI and Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health, served as the Chief Coordinator of the Congress, ensuring its successful ex*****on and global engagement.

Wrapping up an energizing 4-day "Qualitative Research and NVivo Training' !!!
The workshop was filled with interactive sessions, hands-on group work, and engaging discussions that kept the learning dynamic throughout. Participants connected seamlessly, collaborated enthusiastically, and truly enjoyed the experience together.

Guided by experienced qualitative research experts, the sessions opened new doors of learning and provided deep, practical insights into qualitative methods and NVivo. Everyone walked away with enhanced skills, fresh perspectives, and renewed confidence in qualitative research, making it a truly enriching and enjoyable journey for all!
