Got Basketball in You? Our goal is to train & teach the basketball skills needed to maximize & reach your child's goals! We look forward to train you!

Coach Brown is interested working with children and adults will be given an opportunity to follow through our safe and effective exercise designed for the knowledge, skills, abilities and personal growth. De’Angelo Brown, known as Dee Brown is a well known for being a basketball star at New Jersey School for the Deaf, AAU and Gallaudet University. He was selected as a National Player of Year in 1995 during his high school and scored 1,884 points; 2nd in high school history. Dee was also a Gold medalist for basketball olympics in Rome, first one to receive Rookie Player of Year in Gallaudet history, four times AAU MVP and was considered 28th best player of top 100 the country and 15th in state of New Jersey. Dee was part of winning the ESDAA Championship 5 times during his time in NJSD and CSSD championship in 2012 as Coach for Pennsylvania School for the Deaf. It will be a great opportunity for you to work closely with De’Angelo Brown especially for those who are already on basketball team.

Today is the boys’ first day back to school, rocking their Def Familia Clothing shirts! I’m excited to see how this school year unfolds as De’Bron enters 8th grade and Angelo and Cameron enter 7th grade. Wishing my sons and everyone a safe and blessed school year. Always believe you can go far and be the best you can be! 🙏🏾📚💪🏾

New team. Familiar faces. Same Cameron. 🏈💙😈

Cameron Brown is joining the Burlington City Blue Devils 12U, but football is nothing new to him. He already has 4 years of experience playing with different teams and several positions on both sides of the ball.

Cameron has played defensive back, linebacker, cornerback, quarterback, fullback and wide receiver. He reads both the offense and defense well, has natural athleticism, a strong build, great hands and speed that is hard to match.

So far he has recorded 30+ tackles, 4 touchdowns, a 40-yard kickoff return TD, and also scored on a fake handoff 2-point conversion.

Last year this Blue Devils 12U team went undefeated and won the championship, so adding another versatile athlete like Cameron should make this season even more interesting to watch.

Still developing. Still learning. Still hungry.

The love and energy were amazing, especially for “Tell Me Who You Are.” Proud of these boys and the way they keep growing every time they hit the stage.

🏀🔥 Something is marinating in Burlington City.

Since moving here, I’ve been watching the basketball culture grow from the playgrounds, travel teams and middle school all the way up to the Blue Devils.

As a Deaf father, finding tryouts, teams, gym access and opportunities for my sons wasn’t always easy. But the more I watched, the more I saw the talent, toughness and potential in this city.

Now with young players developing, new talent coming in and a strong basketball foundation being built, I believe Burlington City could be entering a special era.

But not everyone knows why I started it.

Before Def Familia, I had an NBA dream.

I went from playing three years at Gallaudet University… to leaving because I couldn’t afford to continue… to collecting carts at Sam’s Club… and then suddenly getting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity at an NBA tryout.

What happened there changed the direction of my life.

The NBA dream didn’t happen the way I wanted it to.

But the vision never died.

The route changed, but the purpose never did.
