Happy Teacher Appreciation Week to all of the teachers out there! Big thanks to Tony Baker, Carl Lundgren, Phillip Graham, and Darren McHenry for all of their hard work this past school year!! :~)

This coming year the UNT trombone studio welcomes Mr. Phil Graham and Mr. Darren McHenry and welcomes back Mr. Carl Lundgren to teach on the interim level while the job search for a permanent faculty member takes place.

For those of you who don't know, the Jazz Ambassadors, the official touring big band of the United States Army, will be performing a concert tonight at Northwest High School in Justin, TX. Three of the four players in this trombone section are UNT alumni (Mike Buckley, Luke Brimhall and Sean Casey) and UNT graduates make up a large percentage of the ensemble.

Hello all. Tonight the UNT Symphonic with be performing with Professor Tony Baker. He will be playing Tara's theme from Gone with the Wind. For those of you who don't know, this particular tune was one of Vern's favorites. He particularly enjoyed performing it with large ensemble. It will be a fabulous concert - you don't want to miss it!
