ASOC The University of Melbourne

We’re nearing the end of the semester, finally! 🥳

As a reward for all your hard work, we’re handing out exam packs to everyone, filled with snacks and a drink to enjoy 🍡

The best part? We’ll also be having a special free pizza dinner. Everyone is free to join! 🍕

So save the date! We’ll be having it at the end of week 12:
⏰ Time of event: Friday, May 29th, 17.30–finish
📍 Location: FBE lobby, ground floor

- Dinner will be held at The Spot Building, room 5015

Missed out last time? Don’t fret — we have another volleyball session coming up! And, we’ve extended the session to 2 hours for more time to play and exercise 🤩

All skill levels are welcome — we’re learning as we go too!

⏰ Time of event: Sunday, May 24th, 15:00–17:00
📍 Location: Nona Lee Sports Center, level 1

Notes:
- We are aware that some people had trouble locating the court last time and we apologize for our lack of clarity and guidance. This time, a club executive will be present by the reception table of Nona Lee to lead you to where the court is
- Please bring a water bottle (hydration is essential!)
- Please wear comfortable sport shoes and attire

We haven’t hosted this one in a while… board game night is back! (And offline, this time 😆)

As we near the end of the semester, come join us for an early break and well-needed night of fun to just play board games with your fellow peers! Snacks will be served, too 👀

No registration needed, just come by and we’ll be happy to play with you. See you there! 👋

• Finishing time is tentative; it may end quicker or later depending on how much fun we’re having
• Please bring your student ID to enter the building (if you forgot, a club member will be by the doors to help you in!)
- Please have dinner in advance
- You are welcome to bring your own board games and snacks
- If you’d like, invite your friends, too! The more the merrier

ASOC day trip to Dight Falls
Registration closes @ 10 am on Friday, 8 August. We have limited spots - 20 spots available. Please sign up as soon as possible if you wish to join the day trip!

Cost of ticket: $10 (include transport & lunch)

Day Trip Itinerary:
9:30 AM - Assembly at University Square
10:00 AM - Departure
10:30 AM - Arrive at Studley Park
11:00 AM - Start of Hike to Dight Falls
12:30 PM - Return to Studley Park, Lunch
2:00 PM - Depart Studley Park
3:00 PM - Arrive at University Square

What to expect:
Lunch will be provided
Transport will be provided as well.
Please bring appropriate weather protection (sunscreen, hat/cap, raincoat, umbrella, etc.)
Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing.
Please bring water
The park has toilets and water refilling facilities.
