THIS IS THE MECHANICS OF THE EVENTS THAT WAS GIVEN A MONTH AGO: Meeting with Club Advisers- was held last week of July. and Second week of August for the adjustment of dates.
Mechanics for the Dance Sports
1. The competition is open to all ages and a regular student of Burgos National High school.
2. Pair contestants are free to choose their own music piece, steps and dance costume.
3. Categories are Swing, Cha-cha, Rumba and Tango.
4. Participants will perform individually accordingly to the dance piece they have chosen.
5. Time allotment is 3-4mintunes only.
6. Lifting and stunts are optional for the sake of safeties of the students, but magnificent to look at, remember that would add life to your performance.
7. Winning couple will receive trophy.
8. Deadline for submission of entry will be on or before the end of July.
CRITERIA for JUDGING:
• Mastery - 30%
• Choreography - 25%
• Style and Technique - 20%
• Costume - 10%
• Facial Expression - 10%
• Over-all impact - 5%

Mechanics for the Field Demonstration
1. Competition is open to all students of Burgos National High School
2. A minimum of 40 and a maximum of 50 members.
3. Members should be a equally combination of girls and boys
4. Dance should follow the field demonstration dancing routine and should be 7-10 minutes only. (ENTRANCE AND EXIT IS INCLUDED)
5. The Group can use any song of their choice but the routine should be able to incorporate the “Philippines Culture and sports” theme in their dance.
CRITERIA for JUDGING:
Creativity and Originality – 25%
Choreography - 20%
Timing and Coordination – 20%
Projection and Style – 20%
Costume and Props 10%
Over-all impact – 5%

Mechanics for the Mr. and Ms. BNHS 2012 Popularity Contest
1. This is a by Club representative event
2. Contestant should be a regular student of Burgos National High school.
3. Pair contestants for Mr. and Ms. BNHS.
4. The judges will be grading all the candidates according to the following criteria:
Face and body 10%
Talent (Creativity, Originality, Poise and Impact) 5%
Regional Costume (Creativity, Originality, Poise) 5%
sportswear (Body Proportion, stage presence, Poise) 5%
Casual (Style, stage presence, Poise) 5%
Gown(Elegance, Poise, Over all beauty ) 5%
Question and Answer (intelligence, eloquence) 15%

50% Brain and Beauty
50% Popularity
100% Total
6. There will be and online vote for Mr. and Ms. Likable Photo on Facebook. Info to be follow.
7. The Judges decisions are final
***This is a School Fund raising program for the sports development programs and equipments. And also for the growth and development of teacher’s skills and knowledge. The 90% of the ticket sales will proceed to the school and the 10% will proceed to the contestant. Each ticket is worth P5.00 (non-compulsory)
