In light of the earthquake felt today, January 20, 2026, at 11:27 AM, STI College–Ormoc, Inc. prioritizes the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff.

According to PHIVOLCS, a Magnitude 3.6 earthquake was recorded, with the epicenter located near Carigara, Leyte, and an Instrumental Intensity III was felt in Ormoc City.

📌 As a precautionary measure, classes for both Senior High School and Tertiary levels will be conducted through Asynchronous Learning for today.

Students are advised to stay indoors, remain alert, and follow safety guidelines issued by local authorities. Further updates will be announced through our official communication channels.
