🔥 UNHINGED PUBLIC SPEAKING TIP:
If you mess up, absolutely do not apologize.

Apologizing is you stopping the entire meeting to announce:
“🚨 ATTENTION 🚨 I HAVE FAILED IN A WAY YOU WERE NOT PREVIOUSLY AWARE OF.”

Most people didn’t notice.
Some are dissociating.
One person is thinking about a weird email they sent in 2017 👩‍💻

Keep talking like it was intentional.
Like it was art.
Like you meant to do that 💅

Confidence isn’t being perfect.
It’s refusing to narc on yourself 🤫

Last week, Sheila from our club gave a *fantastic* presentation on “Moments of Truth,” and it sparked a great conversation about first impressions of our TM club and how important they are.

Moments of Truth focus on the key aspects of a great club - from the members' perspective! Feedback from the membership helps to shape the goals of our club and members, and ensure meetings are welcoming, organized, productive and genuinely supportive.
