Yesterday, we celebrated the chartering of Alpha Delta Delta Omega Chapter in the Mid-Atlantic Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®️!

Our May Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) session was rooted in growth—literally! The girls discussed the benefits of gardening and then rolled up their sleeves to pot fruits, veggies, and herbs. A hands-on lesson in healthy living, sustainability, and future skills!

It is with much pride and excitement that we announce our dear sister, Aerica Williams, has recently accepted her new position as principal of Cedar Point Elementary School! Please join us as we congratulate her on this amazing accomplishment!!

As a well- experienced educator, we are confident that she will find much success in this new role. The P.E.A.R.L.S. have had the pleasure of seeing firsthand, the passion and dedication our sister holds for educating and connecting with our youth. We are excited to know that Prince William County Public Schools, and our community will soon reap greater rewards. As they will all get the chance to experience her in the same light. The P.E.A.R.L.S. were proud to support Black maternal health at today’s TLOD Health Fair. Our table shared resources and information to uplift and empower moms and moms-to-be.

Our April Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) session was all about giving back! The P.E.A.R.L.S. YLI girls showed up and showed out as they took on a much-needed deep clean at a local food pantry. 🧹🧽🧼

From mopping floors and wiping down refrigerators to restocking shelves and organizing the deep freezer—they handled it all with heart and teamwork. We’re so proud of these young leaders for making a real impact in the community! 🩷💚
