Nartan Academy of Dance is an institute set up by Mrs. Ritu Daga that trains students of all ages. Ritu Daga.
Nartan Academy- KC trains students of all ages in the ancient Indian dance forms of Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi under the direction of Mrs. Like this page to be up-to-date on recitals and events that the students of Nartan take part in as well as to learn more about these two forms of dance.

After months of preparation, we still can’t believe Darpana: Ek Kahani is over! 140 dancers, 850+ guests, 14 unique bedtime stories and fairytales depicted, and 25 years of Nartan represented and celebrated.
We would not be here without the support and blessings of our gurus, the Nartan families and students, and the broader KC community. Thank you for continuing to support the arts and culture and promote our heritage - we hope you enjoyed our twist on these tales this weekend.

ALERT ALERT! We are 12 days away from Darpana: Ek Kahani!!
With a break in programming for the holiday season, we are now BACK with our student spotlights, and first up on the list is Stuti, a 2023 arangetram graduate, who will be performing in three pieces at the upcoming event.
One of those pieces is 'Mohini Basmasura', a dance tale that she recounts learning as one of her 'favorite memories of dance class...seeing her arangetram group branch out in their abhinaya'. As a recent arangetram grad, Stuti and her group are fresh with inside jokes with Ritu Aunty, and now come in to learn to teach lessons to younger students as well.
Stuti is involved in many activities in addition, including SEVA dance, DECA, FBLA, Kay Club, and SASA - and she also works at Kumon! Still, she says 'Ever since learning dance, I have become more responsible and on top of things' which definitely explains how she is doing it all.
We are so excited to see Stuti, and other alumni take up a variety of characters in our upcoming show at Lied Center at 3pm on November 25th!
