Looking forward to Sports Day tomorrow for year groups 7 to 10. Although the weather is still forecast to be much better, please make sure you have enough water and sunscreen for 80 minutes! A hat would be ideal as well. In your morning line ups, your Head of Year will remind you what time your year group Sports Day is on! Good luck everyone 😊

Saying goodbye to yr11 students today at Leavers Lunch, very happy to see them grow, but sad to see them go! That rhymed :)

Teaching these lovely GCSE PE students was a pleasure for 3 years, mostly! We wish you all every success for your results in August, and hope you go on to do wonderful things next year! I will miss our lessons together. Hope to see you soon 😊

FLITWICK FOOTBALL CENTRE
THURSDAY 5 OCTOBER 2017 STARTING AT 4:30PM. This is a change of date.
Yr 8 and 9 girls can trial for the u14 team, and yr 10 and 11 can trial for the u16 team.
With such a talented bunch of players at Queensbury, there should be a lot of you getting back to me saying you want to go to the trial, so I can email the managers.
You will need to arrange your own travel there and back. It's good to challenge yourself against the best in the area, now is the time to prove you have the attitude to grab the opportunity and have an awesome experience. Go for it!! Let me know! Mr G

Monday after school clubs and school football match photos! Tomorrow our Year 9 and 10 girls football team are away in the National Cup, v Samuel Whitbread, in their first game of the season!

A couple of weeks late but welcome back to Queensbury! This afternoon was an awesome example of after school sport, with a year 10 boys football match, and our first football match for the new year 7 boys, both at home. The yr 7s won 7.4 in an exciting game, while the yr10s lost to a very strong team. Also out in force were the rugby boys training hard on the pitch, and fitness club entertaining nearly 20 students. Well done everyone, keep up the good work!

The sun shined all day for us, which was much better than the forecast. A fantastic Sports Day with several school records broken! Very well done to all of our brave athletes in the field and on the track! This was the loudest Sports Day in the last 4 or 5 years, which was lovely to see, cheering on their Houses, with great sportsmanship throughout. This was everything that is good about our Queensbury community, friendly, determined and funny much of the time 😊 Well done to Ennis House who ended up as overall 2017 Champions!

Everything is ready for Sports Day tomorrow, hopefully the weather will stay good. Please make sure all students bring sun cream and bottles for water! Wear a hat for the afternoon if the sun is out!! Have a great day!

Our A Level PE class had a great time at Topgolf this afternoon, some great skills on show and some not so good! For anyone who hasn't been before, definitely try it even if you don't play golf! ⛳👍

It was awesome to have a great coach from Dunstable Downs Golf Club down to coach some classes today. There will be an after school club made, so listen out for details! Well done everyone!
