Dear All, Department has started the "Distinguished Alumni Lecture Series" and we shall be inviting our distinguished alumni to give talks in their areas of expertise. The first in the series was the webinar on PCB Design and Assembly that was organized on 7th September and the second is scheduled on 29th. Please join us for these talks. Dear Alumni

We have shared the pictures of the Annual Visitors' Program & Alumni Meet. We expected our respected alumni to join us in huge numbers. The students of current batches were looking forward to hear you share your expertise and experiences. Your teachers were also looking forward to catch up with you because it is on occassions like these when we all come together, take a walk down the memory lane and reminisce on good old times.

We were slightly disappointed because not many of you could join us. We understand most of you had prior commitments. We also know that many of you had not received formal invitations in the form of mails and phone calls and some of you did express your discontent and cited this also as a reason.

We have taken note of this. We did miss out on sending formal invitations to everyone due to some constraints but some faculty members and students had shared the invites on FB. We hoped and believed that you would come. Some of you did come but most of you could not either because of prior commitments or due to lack of information or because of the discontent that you did not receive a formal invitation. We would like to add that we would have been happy if you had come for the alumni meet and had expressed your opinions in person. This was your Department and will always be !!!

We just wanted to share with you that next year we shall send formal invitations much in advance. We hope and are sure that you will take time out for your Alma Mater. This institution has been witness to numerous success stories of batches and batches of students who have graduated year after year. We have a strong alumni base and it is disappointing to not have them with us on alumni meets. We are aware that some of our alumni are not connected with us through this page. We will make all possible efforts to connect with them.

We hope you all will reciprocate.
We hope you will come back and connect with your roots.
We hope you will find time to visit your Alma Mater.

Workshop on VLSI Current Trends Using Mentor Graphics & Xilinx Jointly organized by Department of Electronic Science and CoreEL Technologies (Technically sponsored by IEEE EDS Delhi Chapter) held on March 21-22, 2018.

The Department of Electronic Science, University of Delhi South Campus is organizing a Two-day Workshop on "VLSI Current trends using mentor Graphics and Xilinx" on 21-22 March, 2018.

A mail was also sent to colleges and it was requested that one Faculty member from Dept. of Electronics may be nominated to participate in the workshop. In colleges where B.Sc.(H) Instrumentation is also being run, one faculty member each from Deptt. of Electronics and Deptt. of Instrumentation may be nominated to participate. This restriction is due to limited number of seats.

The last date to register is 10th March, 2018 and there is no registration fees for the workshop.
