科學家以人造衛星監測晚間的地球已持續接近25年，除了研究光污染，晚間地球影像對了解全球人類的發展和活動非常重要。NASA於本月出版了免費書，回顧觀測晚間地球的迷人故事。

For nearly 25 years, satellite images of Earth at night have served as a fundamental research tool for understanding global human development and activities such as the production of light pollution. This month, NASA published a free book titled "Earth at Night" to review the engaging and fascinating story of planet’s nightlights obseervation.

Earth at Night Earth at Night will show how humans and natural phenomena light up the darkness, and how and why scientists have observed Earth’s nightlights for more than four decades using both their own eyes and spaceborne instruments.
