UNL Gamma Iota Sigma

As graduation week arrives, we’re taking time to celebrate our incredible senior members of Gamma Iota Sigma. We asked a few of our graduating seniors to reflect on their experiences, memories, and growth throughout their time in GIS.

We are so proud of everything they have accomplished and grateful for the impact they’ve made on our chapter. Congratulations to the Class of 2026 — we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish in your future endeavors! ❤️🎓

Last Thursday, three of our Executive Members gave us a glimpse into their final week of classes! From 9 AM to 8 PM, they shared a “day in the life,” highlighting the behind-the-scenes of their busy schedules.

Great way to wrap up the year! Last week, our chapter partnered with Pacific Life for an engaging case study where we applied our actuarial science knowledge, explored new concepts, and tackled real-world scenarios. It was an insightful and hands-on experience that brought everything we’ve learned this year full circle. Huge thank you to Pacific Life for an incredible session!

April's Member Spotlight for our Gamma Iota Sigma Chapter is Chandler Nguyen. Chandler is a freshman and has been involved in a lot of the volunteering that we have been organizing. Way to go .dlernguyen19 !

This week we had Chris Frankland from Insurtech join us for an insightful meeting about "How AI will transform the future of Insurance Careers"!

This weekend some of our members helped out at the People's City Mission. Way to go guys!

The month of February's member spotlight for our chapter is Julius Spears! Julius is an active member of our club, comes to many of our events, and makes our community better! Way to go !
