Happy Veterans Day to all of our amazing, wonderful, and hilarious Veterans. Thank you all for making so many sacrifices to something bigger than yourselves without regard to personal consequences. For serving with strength, courage, and honor. For being the light in our lives. Take today to sit back, enjoy time with loved ones, and not think about law school for a few hours!

Hello beautiful people. It's that time of year again - election season!
I want to first say that even if you are not a veteran you're welcome to join our club and you're more than welcome to run for an exec board position. Although the title says "veterans," most of our efforts are in support of those interested in JAG opportunities and to provide resources for our community. It is more important than ever to bridge the gap between veteran and student, and having the perspective of our friends and supporters on the board is key to that objective.
That being said, we will be accepting interest statements for each of our exec board positions for next year until this Wednesday, 24 March 2021 at 10pm. Send those emails to [email protected] - don't let this stress you out - a short and sweet paragraph about why you're interested and what you hope to accomplish will do the trick. We'll post the interest statements for contested elections before the polling begins.

Thursday the polls will open, and will be open until 5pm Friday. If you're on the club's active roster, you'll get an email Thursday morning. If you're not on the club's active roster, comment below or email the club before Thursday to receive the voting link and be added to the roster.
Then, we hope you'll join us at Railroad Square Craft House at 5:30 pm where we will announce next year's board!

Here’s another video of 22 push-ups in honor of the 22 veterans who take their own life every day on average. Thanks to Billy Francis, Director of the Student Veterans Center at FSU, for participating in the challenge. We can always do one more!
For the past 21 days, the Student Veterans Law Symposium (SVLS) has posted videos of students and faculty doing 22 push-ups/reps of any exercise in honor of the 22 veterans who take their own life every day on average. Dean O’Connor took time out of her busy schedule to participate in the challenge!
