✨ Big Updates at Almost Home! ✨
We are so excited to share the progress on our Almost Home school-age buildings! These spaces have been completely transformed to better serve our kids and families.
From brand-new cabinetry, flooring, and lighting to beautifully updated bathrooms—including two additional new bathrooms—every detail has been thoughtfully redesigned. We’ve also added sound-reducing panels to create a more comfortable and focused environment for learning and play.
Safety continues to be a top priority. With new fencing, security cameras, and secured entry doors, we’ve taken important steps to ensure a safe and secure space for all.
To top it all off, we’ll be finishing the classrooms with updated furniture and materials that will spark creativity, learning, and fun every day. 🎨📚
📣 Summer Care Reminder:
If you are a current family enrolled at any of our three locations and have a child(ren) ages 4 (entering kindergarten) through 12 who will need summer care, please contact Alyssia or Jacob to ensure your spot.
Open enrollment to the public will begin in April—be on the lookout for more information coming soon!
We can’t wait to welcome our students into these refreshed spaces!

Last Friday, our school-age kids did something truly special — they created a time capsule that will be sealed inside the walls of their newly renovated classrooms! 🛠️✨
Each item represents who they are right now and the memories they’re making as they prepare for their new space. One day in the future, someone will open it and get a glimpse of the kids who helped shape this building into a place of learning, laughter, and growth.
We can’t wait to finish renovations and welcome our kids into their new classrooms! Stay tuned for more updates!

🚧✨ Construction Update! ✨🚧
We’re excited to share progress on our two modular buildings that will soon become the new home of our YWCA Afterschool Program! The walls are up and the new bathrooms are already completed, and things are really starting to take shape.
These buildings will allow us to serve up to 75 children in a space designed just for learning, play, and connection.
This project is a huge step forward for our program and our families, and we can’t wait to welcome our kids into their new space very soon. Thank you for your continued patience and support as we work through this exciting transition.

We had an incredible pool of candidates, which made this a very difficult decision. After much thoughtful consideration, we selected two internal candidates and one external candidate who each demonstrated strong leadership, dedication, and a passion for our mission.
