🌸CHICKEN AND CHEESE BUNS:🥖🍞

🌸INGREDIENTS:

🌻DOUGH:

* 500 g strong bread flour
* 7 g instant yeast (1 sachet)
* 1 &1/2 Tbsp sugar
* 1 & 1/2 tsp salt
* 250 ml warm milk
* 1 large egg
* 50 g unsalted butter, softened

🌸FILLING/TOPING:

*2 cups shredded chicken add salt & paper to your taste

*200-250g grated cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese (half & half )
*1 egg beaten with 1 Tbsp milk (for egg wash)
*Cream cheese or chilli sauce for drizzling (optional )

🌸METHOD:

🌻Make the dough:

In a large bowl, mix the flour, yeast,sugar and salt.
Add the warm milk and egg.
Mix until a rough dough forms.
Add the softened butter.
Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth, stretchy, and slightly tacky.

🌻FIRST RISE:

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl.
Cover and leave in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

🌻SHAPED THE BUNS:

Punch down the dough and divide into 8–10 equal pieces.
Flatten each piece slightly and place a tablespoon of grated cheese and shredded chicken in the centre.
Pinch the edges together and shape into a cylindrical shape.
Arrange on a lined baking tray, seam-side down.

🌻SESOND RISE:

Cover loosely and let rise buns for 30–45 minutes until puffy.
Brush the buns with egg wash.
Then Using a sharp knife, make a small slit in the top of bread. Add a little cheese on top and drizzle some chilli sauce/cream cheese (optional ) then bake it in the oven.

🌻BAKE:

Preheat the oven to 190°C /170°C fan.
Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
If desired, brush with a little melted butter immediately after baking for an extra-soft crust.

✅💡Tips for Extra-Fluffy Buns:

* Use bread flour rather than plain flour.
* Don’t add too much flour while kneading; a slightly sticky dough produces softer buns.
* Let the dough rise fully both times.
* For an even softer texture, replace 50 ml of the milk with double cream.

Serve warm while the cheese is still melty. These are excellent alongside soup, as sandwich buns, or simply with butter.

⏰Time: 45-50 mins ( dough / buns risen/proofing time is not including )

🍴Servings: 8-10 buns

Healthy Living Series:

NEVER Eat These Foods Like This | Common Food Mistakes That Can Harm Your Health

Many everyday foods become dangerous or unhealthy when eaten the wrong way. Most people make these mistakes unknowingly. In this post, we explain how common foods can turn harmful and the right way to eat them safely. Watch till the end to protect your health!

1. Eggs – Never Reheat Cooked Eggs

Reheating cooked eggs can cause protein oxidation, which may produce harmful compounds. This can lead to digestive issues like stomach pain, nausea, or food poisoning. Eggs should always be eaten freshly cooked and should not be reheated, especially boiled or scrambled eggs.

2. Potatoes – Never Eat Green Potatoes

Green potatoes contain solanine, a natural toxin that forms when potatoes are exposed to light. Solanine can cause symptoms like headache, vomiting, diarrhea, and nervous system problems. Always discard potatoes that are green or sprouting.

3. Rice – Don’t Keep Cooked Rice Too Long

Cooked rice can develop Bacillus cereus bacteria if left at room temperature for too long. Reheating does not always destroy these toxins, increasing the risk of food poisoning. Store cooked rice in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.

4. Cucumber – Don’t Peel Too Deep

Most of the cucumber’s fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins are found just under the skin. Deep peeling removes these essential nutrients, reducing its health benefits. Wash properly and peel lightly or eat with skin when possible.

5. Broccoli – Never Overcook It

Overcooking broccoli destroys vitamin C, sulforaphane, and antioxidants that help fight inflammation and cancer. Steaming or lightly sautéing broccoli preserves its nutrients and makes it healthier and more beneficial.

6. Bread – Never Eat Moldy Bread

Moldy bread contains mycotoxins, which are harmful to the liver and immune system. Removing the moldy part is not safe because toxins spread throughout the bread. Always discard moldy bread completely.

⚠️ Small food mistakes can cause big health problems. Eat smart, stay healthy!
