Ph.D. Student Successfully Defends Doctoral Dissertation
On July 13, 2026, the International College, Maejo University, organized a final doctoral dissertation defense for Mrs. Yen-Ling Chao, a Ph.D. student in the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Tourism Management.
The examination committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Chin-Fa Tsai, with the following academics serving as committee members:
1. Associate Professor Dr. Weerapon Thongma
2. Assistant Professor Dr. Winitra Leelapattana
3. Dr. Suthira Sitthikun
4. Dr. Watcharanan Thongma
The examination was held at Smart Classroom LC 5, Thepsatsathit Building, Maejo University.
During the examination, Mrs. Yen-Ling Chao presented the findings of her dissertation, including the background and significance of the study, research objectives, conceptual framework, research methodology, major findings, discussion, and contributions of the research. She also responded to questions and received valuable academic comments and recommendations from the examination committee.
The comments and recommendations provided by the committee will be used to revise and improve the dissertation before its final submission in accordance with the requirements of Maejo University.
The International College, Maejo University, congratulates Mrs. Yen-Ling Chao on successfully completing her final doctoral dissertation defense. This achievement represents a significant academic milestone toward the completion of her Doctor of Philosophy degree.
