Taekwon-Do is a version of unarmed combat designed for the purpose of self-defence. It was founded in the 1950s by Choi Hong Hi (1918-2002), a South Korean General and Ambassador. Our club is part of the official International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF), which was founded by General Choi in 1966. Taekwon-Do martial artists employ both hand and foot techniques. Last Sunday our club members volunteered at fun run for breast cancer 🎀 It was so inspiring seeing all the runners on the day push themselves through the finish line, and our team had a blast supporting this great event 🏃🏃‍♀️

‼️Club schedule change‼️
From next week, our classes will run on Fridays (City) and Tuesdays (Bundoora) ONLY due to temporary RMIT renovations throughout September. Exact date when our training times will go back to usual will be confirmed later on ✊🏻

Over the weekend, our club traveled to Goulburn, NSW to compete interstate at for the NSW Championships 🏆. We’re thrilled to bring home the title of Overall 1st Place Team Champion, with over 25 medals! 🥇🥈🥉 Huge thanks to Master Craig Harmer for hosting; and all our members for coming along. We had an eventful weekend full of team bonding, fun, and unforgettable memories! 💪✨
