Millet is the number one food in terms of food value. It is a medicine on its own against life style diseases.
Millet is a nutritionally rich cereal grain, boasting high levels of complex carbohydrates, dietary fiber, and protein, along with essential vitamins and minerals like magnesium, phosphorus, and manganese. It is also a good source of antioxidants and phytochemicals, contributing to a range of health benefits, including improved digestion, better cholesterol management, and potential protection against metabolic diseases. Its low glycemic index and high fiber content make it a beneficial food for people with diabetes and celiac disease.

✅ "Dr. Name" and "Dr. Name, PhD" are often used interchangeably, but there's a subtle difference:

- "Dr. Name" is a title used to address someone who has earned a doctoral degree (PhD, MD, EdD, etc.). It's a more general term.
- "Dr. Name, PhD" explicitly mentions the type of doctoral degree they hold (PhD = Doctor of Philosophy). This format is often used in formal or academic settings.

In short, all PhDs are Drs., but not all Drs. are PhDs! 💡

*When to use each:*
- Use "Dr. Name" in most social or professional settings.
- Use "Dr. Name, PhD" in academic or formal writing (e.g., research papers, conference programs).

*Example:*
Dr. John Smith (general usage)
Dr. John Smith, PhD (academic or formal context)

Here are the excerpts from the president's speech of 18 March 2020 on Corona Virus:

1. Temporarily close all Primary, Secondary, Pre primary, university and tertiaries starting midday friday 20th March.

2. Religious gatherings - suspended for a month with immediate effect.

3. Public gatherings stopped for 32 days. Including seminars, conferences.....

4: Ban to travel to select countries.

5: Returning Ugandans to be Quarantined for 32 days

6: Serious, and strict SOP's put out by MoH to workplaces

7: Weddings: Uganda style weddings, pentagon of guests. Postponed for 32 days from today.

8: Funerals: Only relatives should burry, and mourning done later.

9: Farmers; Not a problem. Should observe hygiene habits.

10: Monthly markets suspended for 32 days.

11: Public Transport. Advice. Do not travel by public means, unless its absolutely necessary. Public transport will continue.

12: Stop merry making, bars, sports, discos, suspended for a month.

13: Hygiene; self isolation, if coughing or sneezing. Do not spray your family with your unclean habits. Touching infected surfaces with bare hands.
Money, MoH to effect SOP's. No hugging and shaking hands.

14: Nutrition: Food- Balanced diet. Take good quantities of Vit C. Oranges and Bananas.

In a letter of 29th January 2018, the Principal Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Sports of Uganda regretted that Bridge was feeding “false hopes” to parents by not indicating that Bridge schools would not be allowed to open.

In a press release dated 6 February 2018, the Government of Uganda reiterated that Bridge schools “will not be permitted to open/operate this school year (2018).” Despite the efforts by the Government of Uganda to implement their obligation to monitor and regulate private schools in accordance with the law, Bridge reopened for the 2018 academic year. In response to this action, civil society organisations called on the US-based company to comply with the Government decision and stop undermining the right to education.

High Court of Uganda denies Bridge International Academies' application to suspend Ministry order to close unlicensed schools

In a judgement, dated 16 March 2018, the High Court of Uganda at Kampala denied Bridge International Academies’ (Bridge) interim injunction application seeking to maintain operations while the company’s licensing is under review. As such, all 63 Bridge schools should, by law, currently be closed in Uganda. Earlier this year, Bridge filed the injunction to challenge the directive from the Ugandan Ministry of Education that all unlicensed schools should not reopen for the 2018 academic year. In this recent ruling, the court has found that Bridge’s conduct “speaks to a high level of reckless disregard of national institutions set up to ensure qualitative education in the country.” Contrary to the responsibilities set out in the Education (Pre-Primary, Primary and Post-Primary) Act (2008), the court found that Bridge has been “operating illegally because they have no provisional or other licences” and have only initiated negotiations with the Ministry following the decision to close the schools.

This action came after several warnings by the Ministry for Bridge to comply with licencing requirements, or it would face closure. In August 2016, the Ugandan Minister of Education and Sports, formally announced that the Government would close schools operated by Bridge. In November 2016 a court order authorized the closure of the schools. Bridge did not appeal the order.

In April 2017, a Parliamentary report found that the Ministry had the authority to close private schools operating with out licences, including Bridge schools. Notices to comply with the minimum standards were issued to these institutions.
