Hi everyone!

IIT Tirupati ACM student chapter invites you to the first talk by ACM eminent speaker, "Ponnurangam Kumaraguru", Associate Professor(CSE), PhD(2009), Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University, USA.

The talk will be on SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYTICS on 26th September 2018, Wednesday, 3-5 PM.

Wᴏʀᴋsʜᴏᴘ ᴏɴ Hᴀsᴋᴇʟʟ(ғᴜɴᴄᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ ᴘʀᴏɢʀᴀᴍᴍɪɴɢ):

On 7-9-2018, Workshop on Functional Programming was organised by ACM Student Chapter IIT Tirupati. Workshop was conducted by Aakash Dhasade (4 th year B.Tech undergraduate) who is Haskell Enthusiastic.

This was first session out of 4 planned.

Introduction to functional programming was given in this session along with features of it.Nearly 30 students attended this workshop.

On 22-08-2018, IIT Tirupati ACM student chapter organised it’s first ever coding competition hosted on codechef.

The competition received huge response from the students. Total 667 students participated from different colleges.

From IIT Tirupati also, students took part actively in the competition especially freshers and sophomores showed great amount of enthusiasm and energy to make this event grand success.

Prizes were distributed to the respective winners from each year at the end of competition.

Cᴏᴅɪɴɢ ᴄʜᴀʟʟᴇɴɢᴇs:

For the month of May, June and July, respective teams used to participate in the events like Long Challenge,Cook Off and Lunch Time conducted on Codechef every month and top 2 teams every month based on the collective score of each participant of a team got some interactive prizes from ACM student chapter.
