Our sister has been running an instagram account promoting healthy habits and body positivity! In honor of NEDA week, we asked Amber to share about her account and personal experiences. “I started my Instagram account primarily to share the knowledge and insights I had while dealing with eating issues. I struggled with everything from extreme calorie restriction, bulimia, binge eating, and an overall bad relationship with food. I know how hard it can be to talk about, so I wanted to make a space where people can realize that they’re not alone.
After years of personal experience along with professional help, my goal is to turn the account into a career as a food freedom coach once I graduate.
On my account, I share little bits of wisdom that helped me heal my relationship with food, take back control over my life, and find my natural weight again. If you’re looking to eat healthy in a way that’s balanced and sustainable, this is your place!”
