My version of
“reading for fun”🫠

Here’s a list of all the textbooks I’ll be using throughout school! The bottom 2 are Jarvis Physical Assessment & Potter and Perry Fundamentals of Nursing.
These two are the fattest books but literally are my bible right now and have so much great info for a strong foundation in Nursing. Highly recommend these!

As I’m getting ready to dive into block 2, I’ll be using my Med Surg & Nursing handbooks more since this will be my first weekend of clinicals!

I can’t believe I’m 6 weeks into nursing school and already starting clinicals! I will definitely say I’m nervous & excited for what’s coming next!😌

I’ll also find out how I survive back to back 12 hour shifts all weekend long with a full schedule of classes during the week🙏🏼

2 months ago I started olympic weightlifting and my body and mind has been transformed completely.

I feel mentally and physically stronger, and my health has improved tremendously.

I started working out when my daughter was born to be a good role model for her, but I’ve never found a sport I enjoy or such a supportive and close knit community quite like this😁

Yes, the NCLEX is a monster in itself, but I don’t think we need to freak out about it as much as we do. The testing centers aren’t as scary as everyone makes them out to be. They’re actually pretty chill. As long as you prep & study for it, you should be ok. I studied with Uworld & still had 550 questions left before I took NCLEX. I passed the exam in 100 questions & at question 84 l almost crapped my pants because my screen went black, but it was because it planned a scheduled break for me.

Tips for exam day:
• BRING SNACKS - they make you lock your stuff in a locker to access during your breaks
• Look somewhat decent because they take your picture
• TAKE BREAKS
• Don’t study the day before
• Gum & chapstick aren’t allowed
• You truly have no emotions when you’re done so don’t freak out!
Regardless of how good you do, you won’t feel you won’t pass

Breaking up the absurd amount of reels I posted with some info on drug interactions!! ! curated a list of common medication interactions for exam/NCLEX prep. Of course there are 9273 other ones but these seem to be super, super prominent for testing :) Enjoy! Send to a friend currently in Pharmacology or studying for the NCLEX!
