From flooding to a safe, usable learning space.

Each rainy season, the outdoor learning and play area at our partner school, NHCA, was left flooded and unusable - disrupting classes, limiting movement, and creating safety risks for students.

This flood-proof floor now provides a safe, durable outdoor space that can be used year-round for learning, play, and community activities.

This project was delivered in partnership between Experiential Learning Asia and Foundation for Shared Impact (FSI), with FSI’s generous donation funding the flood-proof concrete floor, and coordinated alongside an Australian donor who funded the roof structure, ensuring long-term protection from flooding.

The project was made possible by the leadership of Mr Prosh, NHCA’s school director, who brought this project together.
