Festival and Prize Distribution Ceremony Held at Bhansali School
Chandwad – 6 December 2025 – The Sports Festival was successfully organized at S.N.J.B.’s Late Shri D. M. Bhansali English Medium School. The festival included a variety of sports events such as kabaddi, handball, long jump, tug of war, running race, lemon-and-spoon race, and cricket.
The chief guests for the Sports Festival were International Sports Star and National Icon Award winner Ms. Durga Gunjal, and the Co-founder and Director of Renewables, Mr. Vrushabh Choradiya. The program was graced by the presence of Chandwad Tehsildar Mr. Anil Chavan, Chandwad Police Inspector Mr. Kailas Wagh, Municipal Council CEO Mr. Dinesh Sinare, Block Education Officer Ms. Sheetal Tawde, Extension Officer Mr. Vasantrao Khairnar, along with all the trustees and office bearers of the institution and the school’s Principal Mrs. Chandra Roy.
The sports events were inaugurated by lighting the torch, carried by the school’s taluka- and district-level prize-winning athletes. Under the guidance of the Sports Department Head Mr. Ganesh Thakre, Mr. Kamalakar Mahale, and sports teachers Ms. Shraddha Malvatkar, Mr. Rohit Dalvi, and Mr. Nilesh Sadgir—and with the cooperation of all teachers—the Green, Red, and Yellow Houses presented an enthusiastic parade, lezim performance, dumbbells, zumba, and chair drill.
The anchoring of the program was done by assistant teachers Mr. Sachin Sasane and Mrs. Sonal Ajmera. Student representative Ms. Bhagyashree Kekaan administered the sports oath. Students who excelled in various sports were honored with medals and certificates.
Chief Guest Ms. Durga Gunjal shared inspiring thoughts with the students, stating that constant practice and hard work are the keys to success. She proudly highlighted how, at a very young age, she achieved international sports recognition and the National Icon Award, bringing glory to the nation. Her thoughts proved highly motivating for the students and will inspire their future sports journey.
For the academic year 2025–26, Red House was declared the Champion House.
The institution’s office bearers, trustees, President Mr. Bebilalji Sancheti, Vice-President Mr. Dinesh Kumar Lodha, Secretary Mr. Jawaharlalji Abad, Trustees Mr. Ajitji Surana, Mr. Arvindji Bhansali, Mr. Vardhamanji Lunkad, Mr. Jhummarlalji Bhandari, Coordinators Mr. Shaileshji Lunawat, Mr. Pankajji Chopda, Mr. Pintu Bhau Sancheti, Administrative Officer Mr. Pramod Galankar, the school principal, and all teaching and non-teaching staff congratulated the prize-winning students and extended their best wishes for future success. ✨💐💐
