ALPIP Intern, Matt Byers, working on the satellite JagSat-1 at the University of South Alabama.
--
The six-year effort of JagSat-1 was led by Dr. Edmund Spenser, The University of South Alabama CPU2AL Lead. CPU2AL partially supported the project, in which almost 50 South Alabama faculty members and students collaborated with the designing and building process of the satellite. The Space X rocket took off on July 14, 2022, to carry the small yet well-developed device to the orbiting space station.
