Safe, effective and efficient fitness programming is offered in a private, professional setting at extremely reasonable rates. Since 1987, I have been providing personalized fitness programs to individuals in Mid-Michigan. I have trained clients ranging from national champion athletes to victims of stroke, cerebral palsy and closed head injury. I was certified through the National Institute of Fit
ness and Sport in Indianapolis in 1989, and the American Council on Exercise in 2003. Previously, I was the fitness director at Four Flags Health and Racquet Club in Saginaw and the Fitness Facilities Coordinator at the Midland Community Center. In the fall of 2003 I opened The Fit Stop, a private personal training studio that utilizes commercial quality fitness equipment by Nautilus, Hammer Strength, Free Motion, Stairmaster, Trotter and other name brands. My training philosophies get my clients the best possible results in the shortest amount of time. My focus is on safe, effective programs that stress the muscle tissue with little or no trauma to the joints and connective tissue. Strength and cardio vascular training as well as flexibility exercises are incorporated to provide the best possible balance in an effort to enhance and improve your long term health picture. My promise to you is to provide a clean, comfortable and friendly facility while using your training time as efficiently as possible. I welcome training in groups of two or three as it is more cost effective and provides a mode of support for all involved. Rates begin as low as $38 per hour, well below the national average for a trainer, even in a public gym. Opportunities currently exist for appointment times as early as 7:00 am, and as late as 6:00 pm. I work split shifts M-F and Saturday mornings to accommodate working individuals.
