Nutrition Services put lots of love into Sweet Potato Comfort Pie that students ate across the district today in honor of Black History Month! We were honored to have Ms. Rose McGee at Robbinsdale Middle School to connect with students and staff over her delicious recipe.

New menu alert at our elementary sites today! Students had chicken potstickers, brown rice, steamed broccoli, fresh fruit and veggies plus milk choice. The robbinsdale_spanish_immersion crew heard yummy reviews from their students today!

Thank you to our Pilgrim Lane Kitchen Team for sampling our tasty homemade Three Sisters Soup last week! We are gearing up to serve this district wide tomorrow, as part of our meal honoring Native American Heritage month.

Middle schools and high schools get ready, we’ve got something delicious in store for you tomorrow, 10/31! We’ve got delicious, Nixta tortillas made locally in NE Minneapolis using heirloom corn that we will feature as a birria beef tostada. More photos to come tomorrow!

We sure ate the rainbow 🌈 in Rdale today! We fusedJapanese noodles and Korean flavored meatballs and broth, and topped with a beautiful array of fresh vegetables to make our delicious Korean Meatball Ramen bowls! Served along with fresh cut fruit, today’s Daily Dish was a winner!😋

Delicious day alert at our secondary schools with our hot beef and cheddar! This is scratch cooking at its finest. Beef slow roasted with carrots, celery, and onions then shredded for a yummy sandwich with cheese sauce and homemade “Arby’s sauce”.

Rave reviews at our elementary schools today for our new breaded chicken drumstick! Served with a homemade brown rice pilaf, roasted fresh green beans, fresh veggies with dip, fruit choice, and milk, this was a great tray.
