🚗🍏 DRIVING OUT HUNGER! 🍏🚗

Eliseo C. Felix was fortunate enough to partner with Ken Garff dealerships, who helped to drive out hunger by donating 100 bags of groceries! 🛍️✨

Families were chosen at random and were absolutely thrilled to receive some extra food just in time for the summer. ☀️🌾 We are incredibly grateful for this amazing community partnership and the support it brings to our school family! ❤️🙌

🎉👏 PROMOTION PARADE PRIDE! 👏🎉

Our amazing 6th and 7th graders lat Avondale Middle ined the halls with cheers, signs, and smiles for a special Promotion Parade honoring our 8th graders! It was such a fun and meaningful way to celebrate all of their hard work, memories, and accomplishments before the big day. 📣✨

☀️🍫 SCIENCE JUST GOT DELICIOUS! 🍫☀️

In 4th-grade science class at Eliseo C. Felix, students learned how to build and use their very own solar ovens! 📐🕶️ After all their hard work experimenting with solar energy, they got to enjoy some gooey, delicious s'mores cooked right by the sun. 🪵🔥 Learning never tasted so good! 😋✨

☀️🍉 FREE SUMMER MEALS PROGRAM! 🍔🍎

Families are invited to participate in our free summer meals program for all children under the age of 18. Meals will be served Monday through Friday beginning June 1 through Wednesday, June 17, at Michael Anderson School, located at 45 S. Third Avenue. 🏫✨

⏰ MEAL SCHEDULE:
🥞 Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
🥪 Lunch will be available from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon.

The summer meal program helps ensure children continue to have access to healthy and nutritious meals while school is out for the summer. ☀️🥛🥦

Happy Last Day of School! 🎉

Join us for the final day of our May Matters campaign featuring Sophia as she reminds us that even the last day still counts. From celebrating accomplishments to making final memories with friends and teachers, today is an important part of finishing the school year strong.

Thank you to our students, staff, and families for staying All In for Avondale throughout the year. Have a safe, fun, and well-deserved summer break! 💙

And remember — we look forward to seeing everyone back on the first day of school on Monday, August 3! Starting the school year with strong attendance helps students begin the year connected, confident, and ready to learn from day one.

Join us for a special Day 15 of our May Matters campaign featuring former Avondale students who are now graduating from high school! As our eighth graders celebrate promotion day, these graduates share how showing up, every day is important for learning.

Their journey is a powerful reminder that every school day matters and that the habits built today create opportunities for tomorrow.

Congratulations to our graduates and our promoting eighth graders as we continue staying All In for Avondale—because May Matters! 💙
