Two day Primary Trauma Care course organised at PGMI Peshawar on 31st March and 1st April 2022. The course trained 25 trainees from different specialities. The course gives systematic approach to Trauma patients and helps identify, manage and reduces mortality and morbidity.

Samir Khan Kabir is an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic and Spine unit at Naseer Teaching Hospital, Peshawar. He has been associated with PTC since 2003. He was trained as an instructor of PTC at Oxford University.

Professor Orthopedic and Spine surgery
We regret to an announce that Mr. John Beavis Orthopaedic surgeon and Chairman and a Founder Member of IDEALS, UK passed away in London on December 5th 2018.
Mr. Beavis was an orthopaedic surgeon, a Philanthrope, a visionary and a dear friend of Surgeon M. Kabir. Together they initiated Primary Trauma care in KP and spread it across Pakistan.
Mr Beavis was a keen teacher and visited Gandhara University regularly to demonstrate Primary Trauma Care workshop to students, doctors and Paramedical staff. He has travelled through war effected parts of the world and helped in skills development, human resources and equipment provision. His work in Sarajevo, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Gaza are of prominence.
His support and mentorship will dearly be missed
