Another great year of Balsa Bridge competitions in the CMGT program.

Congratulations to Blake Lukehart with a bridge that held 172.86 lbs for the General Construction team and Adam Clark with a bridge that held 139.20 lbs for the Heavy Civil team! Great work by all.

Each year AGC of Washington hosts the CWU Mentorship Day. This year we had 15 students who participated in a full day of presentations and job site tours around the Seattle area.

Students and faculty were treated to a guest panel of CWU alumni to include Kenji Norwood (Exxel Pacific), Will Eickhoff (Trico), Jason Aldrich (Lease Crutcher Lewis), Salvador Arallanes (Sellen Construction), Marti Adolf (Sellen Construction) and Rich Wells (Absher Construction). Then toured three job sites hosted by Exxel Pacific (Mercer/Roy Street), Absher/Granite (Northgate Sound Transit), and GLY Construction (Overlake Hospital).
