The McDonald College After Hours

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate two of our former students as they take exciting next steps in their professional ballet careers ✨

Henry has been offered a position with the English National Ballet in London and will commence with the company in July/August for their 2026–2027 season. An extraordinary achievement and a testament to his dedication and artistry.

Aiden, currently in his graduate year, is thrilled to join The Australian Ballet on their National Tour, performing Act II of The Nutcracker and a new work by Stephanie Lake. He will also appear in School performances, including Lucas Jervies’ Concerto Anniversary and Fight or Flight.

We are so proud of both dancers and can’t wait to see where their talent and hard work continue to take them. Bravo to you both! 🌟

Our After Hours Groups (with our Day School Groups) had an amazing weekend at EBSDN West HQ! The students performed beautifully and shined!
A great time was had by all, on and off the stage! Congratulations to all involved…fantastic results with all groups placing! Bravo! 👏

Our Eisteddfod Groups started the competition season at IRBD yesterday. It was an amazing day, the students gave beautiful performances and enjoyed themselves on and off the stage…it was so lovely to see their connection together. Congratulations and bravo to all performers!

Calling dancers of all ages for four weeks of complimentary social dance classes for adults, starting next Tuesday (21 Apr).

Each week, you’ll explore a different dance style in a welcoming environment — no experience needed.

All this is in preparation for the 100th Anniversary of The Ann McDonald College of Dancing, on
Saturday, 23 May, when we will host a Family Social Dance at the Fraser Centre.

We encourage everyone to join as this will be a special milestone for our College 🥰
