On 11 April 2026, the SunCoM Research Unit, Kulliyyah of Science (KOS), IIUM Kuantan, successfully organized the Pahang 1st Halal Carnival: Halal-STEM Expo 2026. This Knowledge Transfer Programme served as a prestigious platform, integrating Halal values with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) through the lens of the Tawhidik philosophy.

✨ Highlights of the Event:
State Recognition: The event was officially launched by YB Dato’ Nizar bin Dato’ Sri Mohamad Najib, representing the YAB Menteri Besar of Pahang.

Strategic Industry Partnership: A major milestone was reached with the official MoU signing between IIUM and Nestlé Malaysia, securing a 2-year collaboration to bridge the gap between academia and the global food industry.

Massive Community Impact: We were honored to host over 500 students and teachers from 6 districts across Pahang (Bentong, Temerloh, Kuala Lipis, Pekan, and Kuantan), fostering the next generation of Halal-STEM innovators.
