All winners from today's event will advance to the next round, the Capital Conference Championship which takes place next Sunday in Gloversville. Announcing The 2026 Gloversville Knights of Columbus Basketball Free Throw Contest!

The Free Throw Contest is open to Girls and Boys ages 9-14.

This event is FREE and any child ages 9-14 that attends Gloversville Schools or has a Gloversville address can participate.

The Contest will be held on Sunday March 1, 2026 at Gloversville Middle School.

Registration begins at 1pm. Contest to follow afterwards. All competitors must be registered to compete by 1:45pm.

Entry eligibility and age category based on competitor's age as of January 1, 2026.

Please fill out and bring an official Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition Entry Form with you.

All entry forms must be signed by both the competitor and their parent or legal guardian, and must be filled out completely in the sections required.

Behind this moment is a sacred process: days of prayer and discernment, centuries-old traditions, and the solemn oaths of secrecy that preserve the integrity of the conclave. As Knights of Columbus, we stand in prayerful solidarity with the universal Church, giving thanks for the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Let us now unite in hope and prayer for the man who has accepted this profound call—to shepherd over a billion Catholics and serve as Christ’s visible representative on earth.
