Elisha Reddick-10th 400m dash with a time of 50.00

Boys 4x200m (Cameron Kaufman, Larry Smith, Joseph Reddick, Elisha Reddick) 4th and breaking their own record for the 5th time this season with a time of 127.88

Arwen Troyer- 7th Discus at 122’0”

Congratulations to these athletes on a great season they had to deal with weather extremes that we haven’t seen in track in a long time. 2 weeks ago we were still in winter gear and now blazing hot. The weather can affect an athlete both physically and mentally but they made it. 🖤🧡🖤🧡

Congratulations to Arwen Troyer for placing 7th at the Girls Division II State Finals! It was a hot day but she pushed through with a placing throw of 122’ 0”!

Boys finished 4th overall after several weather delays. First time running this race under the lights. They broke their own record again running 1:27.88 congrats boys! 🏅Will post full state results tomorrow after Arwen throws!

Looks like we are still running tonight just a bit later. Hopefully the weather is past us.

🏃🏃‍♀️ TRACK AND FIELD SCHEDULE CHANGE: Due to severe weather, we are making the following modifications to the schedule for the remainder of the OHSAA Jesse Owens State Championships:

The remaining Division 2 running events, with the exception of the 3200, are postponed and will be contested on Sunday beginning at 1 PM and following the existing time schedule. The running events that have not yet completed preliminaries, starting with the Boys 400, will be reseeded as timed finals per NFHS regulations.

Start time for the events that are still planned for this evening will be determined later, as weather conditions allow, but will not resume before 7:45 PM. The Division 2 3200 will be the first event competed when the meet resumes this evening. The seated events and the Division 3 finals will still be contested this evening. 
 
Group H field events are being rescheduled for Sunday at 8:30 AM with check-in scheduled for 7:30 AM. Group I and J will proceed on a rolling schedule following the completion of the preceding field events. Field event participants that were already scheduled for Sunday should still report at the previously scheduled time.

D1 running events are planned to take place as scheduled tomorrow.

Spring sports were officially cancelled yesterday...

I suppose it is fitting that one of the last conversations our track team had during a team meeting was how we respond to adversity. You control your effort, your attitude, and your actions.

To our senior track athletes: The abrupt end to a season that barely started does not diminish the commitment you made to this team, the contributions you've made to this program, nor all you've accomplished over the years. I'm proud of you and I'm grateful for the opportunity to have served as your coach over the past 4 years. Go Dawgs!
