Greetings to you all from the desk of the President.

This is to re-inform/remind you about the forthcoming *7th Year Anniversary / NSBS WEEK*, which will hold on *17th - 20th September 2018*, Theme *"Quintessentiality of Biochemistry in Humanity"*

The program will feature the following;
*Day 1 (17th Sept., 2018)*
-Arrival of students
-Awareness in the school compound
-Quiz competition (HND l male vs HND l female & HND ll male vs HND ll female)

*Day 2 (18th Sept., 2018)*
-Workshop
(We are encouraged to come with our lab coat as this will be the only *ticket for participation*

*Day 3 (19th Sept.,2018)*
-Football match (HND l male vs HND ll male and HND l female vs HND ll female)
(each participant is urged to come with his/her football kits)
*Day 4 (20th Sept., 2018)*
-Lectures. -Launching of the metabolite magazine
-Award presentation. -Presentation of certificates
This program is meant to improve the glycosidic linkage between the Biochemistry Students of this school.

To all metabolites, as the active site of NSBS, we demand and request from you maximum cooperation to phosphorylate our proposed plans. Mobilize yourselves, plan and prepare to be there because such is happening for the first time in the history of Biochemistry, fedpolyado chapter.

Do you know that vitamins play a crucial role in human health by controlling metabolism and assisting the biochemical processes that release energy from foods. They are important in the formation of hormones, blood cells, nervous-system chemicals, and genetic material. Vitamins combine with proteins to create metabolically active enzymes that are important in many chemical reactions. Of the 13 well-known vitamins, the body can only manufacture vitamin D; all others, such as vitamins A, C, and E, must be derived from the diet. Insufficient vitamin intake may cause a variety of health problems. Through biotechnology, scientists can increase the content of vitamins in certain crops, allowing a wider range of the world population to make use of their health benefits.
