Good day fellow spanners - if any of you are interrested in attending the Founders' day assembly and weekend events - am hereby posting the itinary as received Port Rex Port Rexians. Here follows the itinary for this week-end :
FRIDAY, 2 August - 1. Founders' Day Assembly in De la Salle Hall. Seating reserved on Gallery and/or back of Hall. Starting at 12:00.
2. Cheese&wine Function in Pitt Stop. Starting at 13:00.
3. Braai/Rent-a-Chop in Tool-shed. Starting at 17:00 till late.
Please note : caps may be purchased at General Office or at Cheese&wine at R50 each. Invitation to attend Founders' Day also extends to partners or 'plus-ones'. Old Scolars' are welcome to walk around the school, Workshops and Hostel. Dress code in smart/comfortable. Parking is reserved on Netball courts or around Workshops. Accomodation in Hostel (bed) is available at R50.
SATURDAY, 3 August : Home Derby vs. Hangklip. Hockey 1st at 10:00, Netball 1st at 11:15, Rugby 1st at 12:30. Egg&Bacon Rolls will be on sale at Pitt Stop from 'early' Proceeds to go to 1st Rugby Tour 2020. Tool-shed will be open after 1st Rugby match. Following is a PASS that will allow you to come onto the campus.

Ok Class mates. Here is the thing. Owen and the team have really tried their very best and pulled out all the stops with organizing a really fantastic program for our reunion weekend, but now we need you guys to come to the party as well, if we are to make this event a success. We "URGENTLY" need you guys to put your money where your mouths are, and just as Owen and his team have made a commitment to you all, we are now pleading with you to do the same and make that commitment to attend this event by paying at least 50% of the total amount owing into our account by no later than this coming Monday the 15th of May 2017 in order to avoid any disappointment and cancellations of any or part of our program. The cost is as follows • Per single person sharing accommodation will be R1700.00 for the weekend • Per single person non sharing and couples will be R3200.00 for the weekend. Full payment must be made by no later than Saturday the 29th of July 2017. Confirmation of attendance will be your proof of payment into our account. Some very sad news. Mr Keith Ferreira. Who taught fitting and turning at the East London Technical High School for 30 years and who I am sure many of you will remember has passed away at the age of 86 years old. Sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family.
