IUPUI Discovering the Science of the Environment (DSE) is an inquiry-based and interactive science education program for central Indiana fourth through ninth grade students and education professionals. Based in water resource and ecological restoration research, this program provides specially designed curriculum and state of the art technology resources to help educators utilize school ground nat

ural areas and nature centers to instruct students in an interactive, inquiry-based environment. Year-round educational program delivery with a mobile science trailer, summer educator professional development, and summer water resources field trip to Lake Michigan provide unique opportunities to raise the level of environmental awareness and science aptitude for Indiana youth.
