ジャパン・バイオデザインプログラムは、米国スタンフォード大学で行われている人材育成プログラム、バイオデザインプログラムの日本版として、2015年10月に開始されました。本プログラムは、東北大学に所属する学生のみならず、修士以上相当の学位（※海外大学卒可、学士＋企業実務経験考慮）のある工学、医学、ビジネスを基本とした多様性のあるバックグラウンドからの、我こそは、日本の医療機器イノベーションの担い手に！という方々を対象とした療機器のイノベーションを担う人材を育成するプログラムです。
