WHAT ARE YOU DOING THIS SUMMER?!!! 🫣

Pool days? S’mores by the campfire? Pickleball? Time with family?

Whether your summer is already full and you’d love to invite someone along... or you’re looking to make it more meaningful—it’s not too late to do something special. We’re still looking for a few families to host a Basque student this summer!

Hosting is simply opening your home and your life for a short time, sharing your traditions, meals, and everyday moments. It’s a unique opportunity to build a real connection with someone from the other side of the world.

You’ll give a student a life-changing experience-- immersing them in English and your culture. And in return, you might find your life and your family's change as well-- you’ll gain a deeper understanding of Basque culture and a relationship that can last far beyond the summer.

Kaixo Crown Point!!!

Last summer was our first year hosting students in Crown Point, IN! Thank you to all the wonderful families who welcomed our students and made it such an amazing experience.

Crown Point, located in northwest Indiana about an hour from Chicago, has a population of around 35,000. We had such an incredible group here last year, and we’re excited to welcome two students back again this summer!😊

Kaixo USA began with students in Berne, IN and the Adams County area, then expanded to Fort Wayne. Since then, we’ve welcomed students from places ranging from Ohio to Iowa—including Indianapolis—and now Crown Point!

So… if you’re an American family in Indiana or beyond, there could be an opportunity for you to host with us. We still have spots available for this summer—if you’re interested, reach out!!

The Feasters first hosted Sofia’s older sister back in 2019… five years later, Sofia followed in 2024—and even returned again in 2025!

While not all of our students are able to return, we’re SO excited that 11 students from our 2025 group will be heading back in 2026! ✈️🇺🇸

Language has a way of opening worlds-- new ideas, new friendships, new ways of seeing things. For our Basque students, English is already their THIRD LANGUAGE. If 2 languages open doors... imagine what 3 can do!! :)
