✨ Meet Hilda Perez! ✨

Hilda Perez is an entrepreneur, social impact strategist, and community leader dedicated to empowering communities and creating meaningful change. With over 15 years of experience across business, philanthropy, international development, nonprofit organizations, technology, and social entrepreneurship, Hilda brings a wealth of experience to everything she does.
She holds a B.A. in International Relations from Adelphi University and a Master’s in Social Entrepreneurship from Hult International Business School. She is currently a doctoral student at the University of Miami in the Higher Education, Community Leadership track, where she is completing her practicum with the Office of Civic and Community Engagement (CCE). She also serves as a research intern with Health in the Hood, COO of SALUD, and co-founder of Savvy – Marketing for Good. Outside of work, Hilda enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and traveling to explore new cultures.
We are excited to welcome her to CCE!

Meet Sofia, a freshman undergraduate research assistant for the Mellon Environment History Project. She is double majoring in Ecosystem Science & Policy and Communication Studies. Originally from Glenview, Illinois, she’s passionate about conservation, and journalism. Through her role, she’s excited to grow her research skills while exploring Miami’s environmental history. After graduation, she plans to pursue graduate degree in environmental communication. She’s excited to learn from and contribute to the team 🌿✨
