On Monday, October 13, three of our ACCE students took part in a meaningful outreach effort, delivering homemade lunches to members of our local community. Beginning at the First United Methodist Church in Pearisburg, they collected the thoughtfully prepared meals and traveled throughout Giles County. At every stop, they offered more than just food; they shared kindness and connection with those who needed it most. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this impactful project a success!

RACE for ACCE fact of the day: Pamela Wolsey boxed up some leftover snacks from the 3rd annual Swish With the Stars basketball clinic that took place in Christiansburg last week. These snacks have been picked up and are very much appreciated for our race event this Saturday. Also a big thanks for her BRONZE sponsorship again this year. Thank you.

We appreciate RunAbout Sports for being a huge part of our annual fundraiser. They provide the top prizes for male and female runners and also provide staff to help with finish line logistics for the race. We could not do it without them and the BHS runners and coach who also help on race day. Thanks everyone. This is why we CAN Race for ACCE.

Christiansburg High graduate and Special Olympics Global Messenger Franklin Lawson and his mentor Julie Mele will assist with handing out race medals this year. We appreciate this collaboration and want to recognize his success as a MCPS graduate.
