Our reply to the beautiful message from Sherri Kaylani which is posted under 'messages'.
Dear Sherri,Thank you so much for your beautiful words, your memories and your message posting some of mom's poems.I am her oldest son,Ray and I can tell you that mom remembered you and loved you as if you were her own blood. That's the way she was.One reason we started her memorial page was because she affected so many thousands of children in a positive way.She won't be in the history books or cyber space encyclopedias but she was a role model to many who became beautiful positive and loving in their own lives-maybe because of some of her influence.God bless you and your family-this Christmas season and always. The LaConte family

WE LOVE YOU, MOM AND DAD!

Here is the chalice, paten, and first Marital vestments donated to St. Bonaventure's Church in memory of my parents. Each item bears the name "Ray and Bette LaConte".

Last night, Father Stephen DeWitt conducted a beautifully-worded Marital vestments blessing ceremony with words that praised my parents' marriage. He prayed that there would be an extra special blessing for future couples to be married at St. Bonaventure's Church while these vestments are worn by the ceremonial priest.

The chalice and paten will be blessed at Christmas Eve Mass.
